SALAM AIDILADHA

firstly, Salam Aidiladha...

most of the Muslim celebrate this event as a symbolic of our prophet, Ibrahim and Ismail...

a flash about the history of this event...

The prophet Ibrahim was ordered by Allah to sacrifice his son Ismail...

it was very hard for him to do so because the prophet Ismail is very young...

then the prophet Ismail told his father not to worry, it was His will...

then the event occured...

the prophet was about to sacrifice Ismail...

but then, Allah saw and always saw the prophet willingness and loyalty to Him...

so Allah exchanges with lamb and told the prophet to sacrifice the lamb...

that's the history...

nowadays....

people around the world celebrates Aidiladha differently...

some were perform Haji (Hajj) in Mekah...

some do the 'korban' (animal sacrifice in the name of Allah to feed the poor)...

and some do a feast among their families...

that's because Muslim around the world have different situation...

as long as they do the right thing, it would be much better...

says, what is 'korban' and how does it affect to the surronding...

let's take a look at this picture:

korban is a sacrifice of a livestock in the name of Allah...

the 'korban'must be a livestock with four legs...

so chicken is not a korban animal...

this picture show how the korban was done...

it must be done with the help of alo t of people...

first, they must dig a hole...

then, they must bring the livestock down near the hole...

then put the neck of the livestock above the hole...

then, an Imam or some trusted individual hold a large knife...

that person must 'niat' and perform this korban...

after that, that person cut the two main throat of the livestock...

then let the blood flow into the hole...

while the Imam cut the neck, everyone there 'bertakbir'...

this make everyone feels the positive environment surronding them...

after that, they slice the livestock into pieces...

the meat are given away to the poor and single moms...

this event put a lot of effort of everyone and must co-operate with each other...

otherwise, the livestock would escape...

so this event will happen at my hometown...

that's why i missed home lately...

tomorrow i will be home...

i'm going back to home...

so everyone, i would like to wish Selamat hari Raya Aidiladha...

may our wish to go to Mecca and perform haji will come true
